This module takes the trainees through exercises for build these skills. We have designed innovative models for the trainees to use in their Laparoscopic trainers.
The excision of peritoneal disease, adhesiolysis and ureterolysis are some of the vital clinical skills which any Laparoscopic surgeon has to master for advanced Laparoscopic surgery.
The surgical techniques of salpingectomy and and salpingostomy are addressed in this module.
We demonstrate how to develop the skills to approach ovarian cystectomy. The correct method of dissection, stripping the cyst and specimen retrieval are taught.
Laparoscopic suturing is key element of advanced surgery. We have developed and teach a hierarchical system which breaks knot tying down into to a number of easy steps.
These are the most common clinical applications using advanced laparoscopic skills. The techniques are explained in didactic and tutored video sessions.
This is compulsory part of the course and must be completed by all participants to complete the course. It will contain both practical and theoretical tests.
