AIM

Join us for a two day intensive hands on and theory masterclass in endometriosis surgery. Hands on laparoscopic simulation with one laparoscopy trainer per delegate for individualised tuition from the expert faculty. Extensive multi-disciplinary input from colorectal surgery and urology. Live endometriosis surgery on day 2.

Course held at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London 0830-1700.

Format

The course is suitable for registrars, consultant, and fellows working in gynaecology and those in colorectal surgery and urology with a special interest in endometriosis:

  • Multidisciplinary assessment of endometriosis
  • Systematic diagnostic assessment
  • Step-by-step peritoneal excision
  • Ectopic pregnancy and adnexal surgery
  • Management of ovarian endometrioma
  • Step-by-step ovarian cystectomy
  • Management of urinary tract endometriosis
  • Step by step ureterolysis
  • Management of rectovaginal endometriosis
  • Step-by-step excision of rectovaginal nodule
  • Approach to the frozen pelvis
  • Retroperitoneal anatomy
  • Fertility and endometriosis
